Position: Warehouse Associate II Job Description: Arrow Electronics is seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Warehouse Associate II to contribute to key operational functions in one or more of the following: receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping. In this role, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, precision, collaboration, and reliability. What You’ll Be Doing:   Support daily various distribution center functions including receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping  Transport, store, and stage product  Ensure quality and productivity goals are met  Ensure warehouse area is clean, organized, and all safety procedures are followed   Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and basic tools  Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to relevant channels  Engage in cross-training to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals   Forklift training and certification provided if required for the position Depending on the assigned department, you may do the following:   Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team  Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and provide accurate inventory counts  Pick inventory utilizing powered equipment Prep and complete shipping orders via RF scanners, paperwork, and box packaging  Build shipping boxes based off variant product heights, weights, and contents   Create shipping labels via multiple carriers by accurately entering contents height, weight, and material; potential for creating international waybills   Utilize multiple computer systems to consolidate orders, complete commercial invoices, and create shipping labels   What You’ll Need:   Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required  Ability to continually stand and walk for entire shift Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is required.  Must be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities Must be comfortable operating powered equipment, such as forklifts (as required) Reading, writing, and understanding of English language   Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures   Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspace   Must be comfortable working under productivity and quality standards   Successful collaboration with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals   Ability to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)      Must have strong attention to detail   Forklift, stock picker, and/or manual pallet jack experience, a plus   What’s In It   For   You   :   At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.   That’s   why we offer competitive financial compensation, including various compensation plans and a solid benefits package.   Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance    401k, With Matching Contributions    Paid Time Off   (including   sick , holiday, vacation, etc.)   Health Savings Account (HSA)/Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Options    Growth Opportunities    Tuition Reimbursement   Short-Term/Long-Term Disability Insurance    Climate controlled environment with excellent break room facilities    Growth Opportunities   And more!   #LI-JB1 #LI-Onsite Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $18.00 Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
