This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who is hands-on, safety-conscious, and keen to develop their career within a global organisation. As a Cylinder Test Operator , you will be responsible for a range of technical and operational activities, including: Carrying out cylinder, valve, and pack inspections Refurbishment and re-validation of both industrial and integrated products Maintaining a strong awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements Performing fault inspections , identifying issues, and escalating concerns as required Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to undertake additional duties to support site operations Shift pattern is Monday Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating To be successful in this role, you will bring: A minimum of City & Guilds qualification in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent A can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and use your initiative A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to your work A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement What We Offer In return, we provide an excellent opportunity to grow and develop, including: Full training in the cylinder testing and re-validation area The chance to build a long-term career within a global company Excellent benefits and a supportive, rewarding working environment where you can thrive We are the world’s largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of industrial gas experience.
