Job Details Responsibilities: Always remain courteous and helpful to World Courier customers and consignees Pick up and deliver goods as requested Ensure all required paperwork is completed by the customer or consignee Use initiative and anticipate potential delivery issues Keep the Dispatch Officer informed of delivery progress and any delays Drive safely and take proper care of company vehicles Prepare boxes for shipments as required Monitor packaging materials and notify the Operations Supervisor when stock is low Maintain adequate stock levels of packaging materials and labels Be prepared to work overtime during busy periods Request additional duties during quieter periods Perform airport duties as directed, including import and export tasks Work periodic weekends as scheduled in the roster Reports Directly To: Dispatch Supervisor Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements: Current driver’s license Clean and reliable driving record Good knowledge of the metropolitan area Pleasant, professional, and proactive manner with customers Good knowledge of cold chain management and basic dangerous goods (Dangerous Goods) requirements Strong sense of urgency balanced with meticulous attention to detail Ability to anticipate and resolve potential delivery issues Demonstrates initiative and sound common sense Reliable, accountable, and dependable Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver “+1” service Ability to work effectively in a team environment What Cencora offers Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
