Position: Customs and Trade Operations Specialist Job Description: Customs and Trade Operations Specialist serves as a subject matter expert on local & regional trade law & regulations for import and export activities. The position develops, implements and monitors the overall structure , processes and procedures to ensure compliance . All processes need to be in place and being followed correctly for imports and exports. The position helps other employees get the necessary regulatory documentation , training , or reports whenever it’s required. The position ensures that the organizations is up to date on all the relevant regulatory and licensing requirements . WHAT WILL YOU DO :   Take ownership of auditing import and export Customs declarations, Tariff Codes, Incoterms, etc. and following related record keeping processes. Work closely with the sites, team members, freight forwarders, and Customs Brokers to correct any anomalies to minimize import/export shipment delays due to Customs compliance issues. Advise any deficiencies, make Customs (training) recommendations when gaps are discovered, and identify areas for structural, organizational, and process improvement within our organization. Documenting potential Customs issues and being able to communicate with your customs manager. Providing monthly reporting of internal Customs audits of Customs clearance reports. Identify opportunities to continue to build the efficiency of the Customs related tasks. WHO YOU ARE :   You have previous experience in logistics and knowledge of the customs legislation (i.a., CBAM; EUDR). You have good communication and coordination skills. You are fluent both in English and Hungarian . You are able to work independently as in a team.
