The Oracle Server Database Consultant will provide technical consulting and managed services to a wide range of customers locally in Australia and New Zealand as a key member of our Database practice.   Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end Oracle EBS 12.2 database and application tier support Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Server used in EBS 12.2 (App Tier) Perform WebLogic activities including start/stop, patching support, configuration, and troubleshooting Lead and execute Oracle database migrations and upgrades, including: 10gR2 → 11gR2 11gR2 → 19c Plan and execute on-prem to cloud migrations on: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AWS Perform pre-migration assessments, cutover planning, rollback strategies, and post-migration validation Administer Oracle databases (10gR2, 11gR2, 12c, 19c) across on-prem and cloud Manage Oracle databases on HP-UX and Linux platforms Implement and support Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard (Physical & Logical Standby) Implement and support Oracle GoldenGate for migration and replication Monitor database and application tier performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Perform database performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF Ensure high availability, security, backup, recovery, and DR readiness Participate in cutover execution, DR drills, and production support What awaits you in DXC: Health Insurance (HMO) for you and dependents upon hiring Life Insurance coverage from day 1 of employment 15 - 20 Days’ Vacation and 15 Days Sick Leave Expanded maternity leave up to 120 days and Maternity Benefits Expanded paternity leave up to 30 days Non-Taxable Allowance (De-minimis) Company-sponsored trainings upskilling, and certification SMART First Working Arrangements Healthy and Encouraging Work Environment Recognition and Pay for Performance Culture Supplemental Pay (Standby/Shift) Retirement Program Employee Assistance Program If you are motivated to deliver excellent results, want to grow your career and make a difference, come join us.
