Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.   JOB DESCRIPTION :   A s a Marketing Consumer Insights Intern you will conduct market research studies to extract meaningful insights and make recommendations based on customer’s behaviors and needs .   How You Will Make Contributions That Matter :   Gather category, consumer, and shopper data to help identify opportunities to improve sales and/or category assortment using various databases including IRI, NCH, KWIKEE, Rapid Recall, Data Sync GS-1, Wal-Mart Retail Link, etc.   Prepare customer category reviews.   Conduct competitive analyses and present findings to internal stakeholders.   Design and deliver presentations based on analytic work.   Complete a value -add projects for the category marketing team.   Develop a firm grasp of the industry including understanding the competitive landscape (pricing/promotions/marketing strategies, etc.)   Identify new opportunities for high-impact research to answer organizational knowledge gaps around dealer and consumer needs   Effectively manage projects, prioritize, and adhere to timelines   You Are Best Suited f or The Role If You….    Are p ursuing bachelors' degree in Marketing , Communication, Business, or related field.   Enjoy the analytic side of marketing.   Ha ve experience (in or outside of school) drawing insights from data.    Can create an effective presentation and have experience presenting.    Have i ntermediate Excel skills ( vlookups , pivot tables, if/then, etc.)   Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team.    Have the ability to work scheduled hours and required     overtime as needed.   Display traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention     Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times .   We Support and Care f or Our Em ployees by Providing Them With…   Development opportunities that enhance you career fulfillment .   Meaningful compensation & benefits that help you care for your family .   Opportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products .   SDUSA Overview :   Saputo is among the top three cheese producers in the USA and one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products.
