Your New Role: The Financial Master Data Lead position for the Enterprise Systems & Services group will be responsible for assigning work, reviewing, and evaluating Master Data across WBD ERP systems, including but not limited to, SAP S/4, SAP ECC, Peoplesoft, Oracle and other systems as determined by the business including development, test, and production environments. This position will aid with the successful development and implementation of projects involving, master data clean-up, creation and testing of new master data tools, and the possible implementation of end-user transactions for self-service master data creation. This position may require hands on master data creation and interaction with other ERP teams to insure adherence to policies, procedures, and software industry best practices. Leads the development of technology solutions that focus on identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for applications integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure (i.e., an “application system”). Oversees business analysis and applications development and implementation. Your Role Accountabilities: OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT ● Assist project team, key stakeholders, and management to prioritize business requirements and develop and maintain detailed project plans using standard tools ● Help determine resource roles needed and work with management to secure project team members ● Effectively assist in leading by influence and work in a matrix/cross functional (BU Champions) ● Assist in establishing and coordinating the project plan for migration of the project into production ● Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflow and initiatives ● Help provide training and training materials for new processes ● Work with key stakeholders to define and document communication plan ● Assist management with special assignments, such as evaluating vendors, gathering/evaluating consultant proposals, or other responsibilities as requested STRATEGY ● Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand team needs and dependencies to better align business processes ● Assist in developing and executing a methodology to evaluate, prioritize and monitor the success of the business processes ● Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them ● Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives ● Ability to build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards for use in ongoing business planning and goal measurement through KPIs ANALYTICS ● Develop comprehensive performance analysis of business processes and review ways of improvement ● Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives planned Qualifications & Experiences: ● Minimum 2 to 5 years of prior experience and knowledge of Financials and media and filmed entertainment industry ● Hands-on experience ERP and SaaS software including SAP ERP in at least 8 or more Functional Areas (FI-GL, AR, AP FI-CO, P2P, MM, SD) ● Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, priority setting, time management and organizational skills ● Experience developing financial models in Excel AND facilitating business discussions ● Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings, and worksheets ● A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture ● Excellent written and verbal communication ● Superb relationship building skills ● Ability to operate independently or as part of a team and complete agreed upon deliverables within established timeframes ● Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently ● MDG- Master data Governance experience is preferrable. Not Required but preferred experience: ● MBA ● Minimum 2 years of post-MBA experience in a related field (media and entertainment industry) ● Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.) ● Familiarity with streaming and related products/services ● Experience working in a national or global company ● Working knowledge of ticket tool ServiceNow ● Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e., Tableau, Power BI) ● Comfortable in working in highly iterative and fast-paced environment ● Master Data Governance (MDG) SAP tool experience How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
