Discovery’s portfolio of premium Sports, Entertainment and News offerings. The Account Executive plays a critical role within WBD’s sales team. He/She will be responsible for selling across TNT Sports including Bleacher Report and House of Highlights. As part of Warner Bros. Discovery, we are dedicated to driving the evolution of sports engagement by enhancing the fan journey and unlocking impactful opportunities for our brand partners. We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive with expertise in both Linear and Digital platforms. This role is based in Warner Bros. Detroit/Birmingham office and reports directly to the Vice President, WBD Sales. We're looking for a media professional who excels in navigating monetization strategies within an evolving landscape and effectively communicates their value to major brands. In this role, you’ll not only generate revenue through partnerships but also collaborate closely with our Marketing, Planning, and Account Services teams to ensure programs meet and exceed client KPIs. You will be responsible for building and leveraging relationships with key contacts at major agencies and national brands while partnering with the our internal teams to deliver cross-platform programs across premier leagues such as the NCAA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, Roland Garros and more. A proven track record of sales success, coupled with a passion for innovative strategies, will be essential to driving client engagement and revenue growth. Qualifications: At least 5 years’ media sales experience required; Linear, digital video, custom content and league partnership sales experience preferred Strong, established relationships with key decision makers in Detroit and with other large clients in the upper Midwest. Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing media brand partnerships with emphasis on growing revenue An entrepreneurial mindset – creative thinker, results-oriented, passionate, confident, ability to thrive in an unstructured environment Strong understanding of the GEN Z sports fanatic/user/viewer Ability to understand media industry, changing technology and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner Passionate for brand storytelling in a sports context Strong organizational/project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Provide account management to a portfolio of clients. Develop, manage, optimize, and support strategic account plans, apply consultative sales strategies and leverage data and product knowledge to create business solutions for clients Guide and consult clients on Turner Sports properties and how to achieve the greatest results based on client objectives  Manage and analyze the performance of clients' campaigns to recommend and tailor solutions based on the clients' objectives and KPI's Establish deep relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies Grow existing portfolio of clients, to drive and upsell Sports + Bleacher Report / House of Highlights Ability to sell beyond sports properties with complementary content on our other WBD properties when appropriate Excellent time management and problem solving skills This role requires some travel to visit clients in various territories, hosting clients in respective cities for games, and attending other company events.
