We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience team. This role is ideal for someone with world-class technical skills and a deep empathy for fellow developers. You’ll work alongside talented engineers, architects, and stakeholders to design and deliver tools and platforms that make development at ResMed a joy. What You’ll Do Champion a developer-first mindset with empathy for the challenges of modern software development. Drive full-lifecycle product development—from concept to delivery and customer satisfaction. Present ideas clearly to peers, team members, and leadership. Lead our inner sourcing/open sourcing strategy and foster a strong developer community. Promote cloud-native architecture and help guide our migration efforts. Build and maintain observability and reliability of services. Participate in a Sun model standby rotation for production incident management. Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic migration plans. Provide thought leadership across architecture, processes, tools, and technologies. Collaborate across teams to build consensus and shared understanding. What You’ll Bring BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Professional software development or platform experience. Experience working across multiple languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, TypeScript, React). Strong testing practices and commitment to code quality. Experience documenting code using frameworks like Markdown. Deep knowledge of source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and automated quality gates (GitHub or Bitbucket). Proven experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud-native architectures. Problem-solving skills and familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. Bonus Points Familiarity with GenAI and integrating AI into existing systems. Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies. Hands-on experience managing JFrog Artifactory and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK). Production experience operating Kubernetes clusters in public cloud. Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with on-call rotations and incident management.
