Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive. Your New Role ... The PR & Publicity Placement Interns will support Warner Bros. Discovery teams to maximise engagement in their films, TV shows and streaming platforms. There are a variety of Placement roles within the PR & Publicity division, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship. Your Role Accountabilities ... Researching current trends and activations within the industry. Analyse competitor publicity activities and campaigns Daily monitoring of industry news and identifying opportunities for innovation and   creativity. Work closely with the project publicists to ensure that all materials are up to date and   in line with the Publicity strategy. Co-ordination and organisation of all publicity activities, including press interview   access, set visits, premieres, screenings, film festivals and unique stunted activities. Work closely and establish effective working relationships with the local publicity teams   across our 40 European markets and the international publicity teams in Home Office. Work cross-divisionally with the marketing, digital, creative, exhibitor and brand   partnership teams. Driving the creation and circulation of media cuttings reports and suggesting innovative   ways the PR team can best display its successes, including presentations and   coverage reports. Qualifications & Experience ... You must be a current University student in your 2 nd year of study, looking to spend your 3 rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028. Proven strong, accurate writing ability, with excellence for grammar and punctuation. Good copywriting skills and the ability to research and draft releases. Well organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise   workload and use time effectively. Understanding of social media tools especially X, Instagram, and Facebook. Good interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to communicate with people   at all levels. An interest in the film, entertainment and media industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. The Internship ... Salary: £27,000 p/a Contract Length: 12 months Start Date: 6th July 2026 You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise! Next Steps ... Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 1 st February (you will not be able to apply after   this date). Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written   questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8 th February. Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed   in February. Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.
