We are seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team of 4–8 pathologists and three Pathologist Assistants. Our practice supports multiple hospitals and outreach clinics, delivering high-quality diagnostic services to a diverse patient population. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and a matched 401(k) plan Attractive sign-on bonus Qualifications & Expectations AP/CP board certification required Subspecialty expertise in GI/Liver, Hematopathology, or Cytopathology highly desired 3–5 years of prior practice experience preferred; recently trained fellows will be considered Must hold or be eligible for a Washington State medical license Service Responsibilities Sign out a broad range of surgical cases Interpret intraoperative frozen sections and cytology rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE) Present at general and/or specialty tumor boards Serve as CLIA director for hospital laboratories Participate in call coverage, shared equally among all pathologists Hospital Affiliation Tacoma General Hospital (Tacoma, WA) – MultiCare’s flagship facility and a Level II Trauma Center with 437 beds.
