Job Title Postdoctoral Research Associate Agency Texas A&M University Department Physics And Astronomy Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Here’s a Glimpse of the Job   The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to cutting-edge theoretical research in classical and quantum gravity, supergravity, and string theory, while actively participating in the academic life of the department through scholarly publications, collaborative initiatives, and student mentorship. Opportunities to Contribute Conduct advanced research in classical and quantum gravity, supergravity, and string theory, contributing to the theoretical understanding of fundamental physics. Analyze findings and publish results through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at conferences. Coordinate and manage a weekly seminar series to foster academic dialogue and collaboration within the research community. Mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Qualifications PhD in Physics A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess: Excellent written and oral communication skills (incl. track record of publications). Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's education and experience.
