Requirements : 5 years experience as a Mechanic Fixed Plant (component rebuild). Experience perform gearbox & power transmission, rebuild, overhauls and component rebuild & assembly where a level of high precision and quality control is required. Able to measure to a high degree of accuracy using micrometres and other manual measuring equipment. Able to reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production. Job Descriptions : Perform Gearbox, Pump, Valve overhauls and component assembly where a level of high precision and quality control is required. Able to measure to a high degree of accuracy using micrometres and other manual measuring equipment. Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set. Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production. Provide feedback and input in relation to opportunities for improvement, i.e. tooling, processes and working environment Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose.
