Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an IT Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Digital organization based in Getafe, Spain. You will be part of the team responsible for "A400M M&L Solutions" which focuses on Operational Service and Application Management for the Customer Services area. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and aim to provide users with professional systems and services. RESPONSABILITIES: Operation, maintenance, and control of the applications that support the TASS processes. This includies Ticket Processing and Stakeholder Follow-up (within the IMAGENE Contract defined activities) Ensuring service quality and operational readiness, including proactive measures. Ensuring the achivement of the metric goals (monitoring using Unified Planning and OneClick systems as regular user) Coordinating the involved IT service teams in analyzing and resolving complex disruptions (e.g., network, database, or server operations) using BMC Remedy Independent technical analysis of disruptions, isolating and resolving faulty conditions, and developing guidelines for system operation Serving as the central point of contact for the specialist department in case of disruptions and for requirement management until implementation SKILLS: Completed computer science degree or equivalent (e.g., IT specialist training) Native Spanish and good English skills Advanced knowledge in application management, IT networking, and IT infrastructure (OS, middleware), scripting (e.g., Windows, Linux server, and database administration) Understanding of IT security requirements and relationships in IT architecture Experience with Operational Service Management according to ITIL principles This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities Knowhow in programming languages like .Net framwork an python is desirable WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?  At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
