Job Description: A vacancy for a Structural Tests Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, (Madrid) The successful applicant will join Engineering Department (Struc. Test Laboratory & Systems). RESPONSABILITIES Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Verify that the system's requirements are correctly & completely implemented. The result of this activity (compliance matrix) may be required for qualification of the system in the frame of military acceptance or civil certification. Set up a development process including all disciplines in a structured process from concept to production to operation. The choice of the developmnent model is not restricted to a special model like waterfall or other methods. Processes and activities must be chosen according to the systems needs. A good understanding of the Vee-model for development with iteration loops and V&V processes included is necessary. Execution, and Analyze for the overall functions of a complete system (aircraft, spacecraft, ...) SKILLS We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Educated to degree level in Engineering Experience in Engineering, and structures  5-10 years will be valuable. A good understanding of the Vee-model for development with iteration loops and V&V processes included is necessary.
