This highly specialized, high acuity 21-bed unit provides care to patients post vascular and thoracic surgery.  Our care delivery is evidence based and our interdisciplinary team is highly collegial.  This active, fast-paced unit cares for patients who have had carotid surgery, lower extremity bypass, aneurysm repairs, arterial-lines, advanced DVT intervention, chest tubes, etc. RNs in this unit have autonomous scheduling and do an every third-weekend rotation.
