Summary Job Description: Radiation Therapist Full-Time, Days Lexington, KY $15,000 sign on bonus for qualified individuals Baptist Health outpatient oncology, where compassionate care meets advanced treatment. Our cancer center offers medical oncology, infusion therapy, radiation oncology, and genetic counseling. We also provide nutritional counseling, palliative care, psychological support, and access to support services. Our expert oncologists and team create personalized treatment plans with the latest technologies. From diagnosis through recovery, we ensure patients and caregivers receive continuous support and education. Description: Must be able to be on call, including weekends and holidays, and flexible to work above standard hours to meet staffing needs. Utilizes ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy Maintains treatment equipment and records, monitoring treatment area, and other duties as needed Accurately delivers a planned course of radiotherapy by administering treatment in a safe manner Demonstrates how to use Linacs and CT simulator and perform patient treatments Provides patient education, scheduling and excellent customer relations Correctly documents and captures charges for procedures Requirements: Bachelor’s degree New graduates will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must pass boards within 3 months of hire Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy State Radiation Operator Certification Basic Life Support Radiation Oncology preferred Benefits: Tuition Assistance up to $6,000 annually Company paid Maternity and Paternity leave 5 days of Paid Time Off available upon hire Bereavement Leave (includes pets) PTO Sell Back Program Compassionate Leave Sharing Program (PTO Donation) Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support Work Experience Education If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
