Summary Job Description: Sign On Bonus Available Baptist Health Louisville has wonderful opportunities for new graduate nurses.  New Graduate nurses go through a general  nursing orientation and then are assigned a trained preceptor who works with the new graduate on the unit to ensure a smooth transition to practice.  We also enroll each new graduate nurse in a year-long residency program which further assists the move from academic setting to bedside practice.   Baptist Health Louisville has seven telemetry units in the main hospital with each unit hosting 21 all private rooms.  Nurses provide intermediate-level care for adult through geriatric patients with a variety of different medical diagnoses.  The units provide high-level, fast-paced, patient and family centered care.   Our nurses acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s healthcare journey.  Each unit has a specific focus such as bariatrics, neuro spine, dialysis or cardiac services which create a unique culture and fit for virtually every nurse, while still offering the opportunities to care for a wide-variety of monitored patients.   Medical benefits are offered for positions working a minimum of 24 hours per week with an accelerated effective date.  Baptist also offers our telemetry nurses clinical ladder and preceptor programs and opportunities which allow nurses to grow in both skill set and compensation.  If you are a new graduate nurse who is graduating this Fall/Winter please complete your application and attach a resume.
