Summary Job Description: Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a dedicated full-time Charge Nurse (CN) to join our Pre-Post Surgery Department on the 2nd floor of the Main Hospital. This entry‑level leadership role coordinates patient care during assigned shifts, supports workflow, and provides guidance to the surgical team. As a Registered Nurse , the CN delivers care to patients of all ages within the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and actively contributes to quality improvement and shared governance at both the unit and hospital level. This 38-bed unit is focused on treating pre/post-operative surgical patients. This includes performing procedures necessary for proper placement of lines and assisting with peripheral nerve blocks. Post-operatively, patients are prepared for discharge in the same area offering continuity for the Phase II Recovery or discharge phase. Critical care experience is desired. Requirements: Active Kentucky RN license 6 Months relevant patient care experience required.
