Summary Job Description: PRN - varied schedule Location; Bardstown Diagnostic Imaging Center Job Description: Operates Ultrasound equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Requirements: Associate's degree in Allied Health education program (diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience; or Diploma or degree from an ultrasound/vascular program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA); or Bachelor's degree (any major) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience; or Bachelor's degree in sonography or vascular technology, or higher. Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Completion of ARDMS Registry within one year of employment required. BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
