Job Description: Du bist auf der Suche nach einem Praktikum und mochtest die Arbeit eines Entwicklers fur Digital- und Hochfrequenzbaugruppen (d/m/w) kennenlernen? Gerne kannst du Teil unseres Teams werden! Du wirst unter anderem vertiefte Einblicke in die Funktionsweise eines High-Speed Modulators erhalten. Der Modulator, in Verbindung mit einem HF-Verstarker (SSPA, TWTA) ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil eines Satelliten. Er ist fur die schnelle Ubertragung von Nutzdaten aus dem Massenspeicher zur Bodenstation zustandig. Diese Daten werden z.B. mit Optischen- oder Radargeraten erfasst. Deine Aufgaben Die nachste Generation von High-Speed-Modulatoren wird mit einem optischen Dateninterface ausgestattet sein, welches einen hoheren Datendurchsatz zwischen Massenspeicher und Modulator ermoglicht. Im Rahmen des Praktikums wird ein Emulator entwickelt, aufgebaut und getestet, der zur Prufung und Charakterisierung dieser Schnittstelle dienen soll. Die Hauptkomponenten des Emulators umfassen ein FPGA-Board, einen Mikrocontroller mit Touchscreen sowie einen optischen Transceiver. Einarbeitung in die Funktionsweise eines Modulators und der optischen Schnittstelle Gemeinsame Erarbeitung eines Gesamtkonzeptes fur den Emulator Mikrocontroller-Programmierung inkl. Ansteuerung eines einfachen Touchscreens Messtechnische Verifikation des implementierten FPGA Designs Aufbau des Emulators in ein 19¡§ Gehause inklusive Frontplattendesign Erarbeiten eines Verifikationskonzeptes der optischen Schnittstelle Deine Qualifikation Immatrikulierter Student in der Fachrichtung Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Mathematik, Physik oder vergleichbare Studiengange Kenntnisse in Hochfrequenztechnik/Nachrichtentechnik/Digitaltechnik sind von Vorteil Kenntnisse in Mikrocontroller-Programmierung sind ebenfalls von Vorteil Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift ngagement und eigenstandiges Arbeiten in einem kommunikativen Team sind selbstverstandlich Was dich erwartet Betreuung und kompetente Unterstutzung durch erfahrene Mitarbeiter Einblick in die Raumfahrtbranche Moglichkeit, die Zukunft der Satellitenkommunikation mitzugestalten Flexible Arbeitszeit attraktive Praktikumsvergutung Werteorientiertes Handeln und die Begeisterung fur das was wir tun This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
