Job Description:    The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.  The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.   As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.    Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:   Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.  Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.  Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.  Benefits: Full-Time 32 weekly hours (0.8 FTE) - 40 weekly hours (1.0 FTE)   Health, Vision, Dental and Pet Insurance  Life Insurance  Short Term and Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance  Identity Theft Protection  Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 annually   Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave   5 days of Paid Time Off available upon hire   Bereavement Leave (includes pets)   PTO Sell Back Program   Compassionate Leave Sharing Program (PTO Donation)  Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support   Retirement with Company Match  Work Experience Education If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
