Job Description: Du bist auf der Suche nach einem Praktikum und möchtest die Arbeit eines Entwicklers für Digital- und Hochfrequenzbaugruppen (d/m/w) kennenlernen? Gerne kannst du für ein paar Monate Teil unseres Teams werden! TTC (Telemetry, Tracking und Control) Transponder auf Satelliten sind für die Übertragung von Telemetry zur Bodenstation, zum Empfangen von Anweisungen von der Bodenstation und zur Entfernungsbestimmung von der Bodenstation bis zum Satelliten zuständig. Deine Aufgaben Mit steigenden Anforderungen wird auch die Ansteuerung von TTC Transpondern komplexer. Für die neueste Generation von TTC Transpondern wird im Moment ein neuer Messplatz ausgebaut. Dieser Messplatz soll, in Verbindung mit entsprechender Software, ein umfangreiche Automatisierung aller notwendigen Charakterisierungsmessungen ermöglichen. Um auch komplexe Kodierverfahren zu unterstützen, soll das neue Messsystem mit einem FPGA zur Datensignalerzeugung und -auswertung erweitert werden. Einarbeiten in die vorhandene Messplatz Hardware Verständnis für die Funktionsweise eines TTC Transponders und Kodierverfahren der CCSDS erarbeiten Entwurf und Umsetzung der Erzeugung und Auswertung von kodierten Datensignalen in VHDL Entwurf und Umsetzung der Ansteuerung des FPGAs von der bestehenden Messplatzsoftware in Python Gestaltung und Erweiterung der Nutzeroberfläche zur Ansteuerung des FPGAs Automatisieren von Messungen Deine Qualifikation Immatrikulierter Student in der Fachrichtung Informatik, Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, oder vergleichbare Studiengänge Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Informatik, Hochfrequenztechnik, Nachrichtentechnik oder Digitaltechnik sind von Vorteil Erfahrung in der Programmierung mit Python Grundlegende Erfahrung in der Programmierung mit VHDL sind von Vorteil  Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift Engagement und eigenständiges Arbeiten in einem kommunikativen Team sind selbstverständlich Was dich erwartet Betreuung und kompetente Unterstützung durch erfahrene Mitarbeiter Einblick in die Raumfahrtbranche die Möglichkeit, die Zukunft der Satellitenkommunikation mitzugestalten Gleitzeitregelung mit flexibler Arbeitszeit attraktive Praktikumsvergütung Werteorientiertes Handeln und die Begeisterung für das was wir tun This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
