Summary Job Description: Nursing Assistant Med-Surg- Part Time, Nights Status: Part Time Shift: Third Baptist La Grange is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgical unit! This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to get their start within the clinical field or to utilize their prior patient care experience. Job Summary: The Nurse Assistant / Unit Secretary is an individual with clerical aptitude and clinical abilities that assist the nursing staff by performing selected procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Will perform clerical duties as directed to optimize department operations. Responsibilities: Provides Safe and Efficient Patient Care. Communicates effectively. Performs Scheduling, Computer and Clerical Functions. Demonstrates Scheduling Proficiency. Demonstrates Role Accountability. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
