Job Description: Role : Associate Data Scientist Number of positions : 1 Level                                  : Associate / Entry-Level Location                            : Bengaluru     Qualification & Experience:   The candidate will join the Manufacturing engineering team providing digital solutions to manage business processes throughout the Airbus group wide. As such, he/she needs to have a strong customer focus.   The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.   Graduate in Data Science, AI-ML, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Masters in the relevant field would be an advantage Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Experience with data visualization tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.   Technical requirements: Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Traditional ML: Strong proficiency in traditional machine learning modeling is required Deep Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience or academic projects using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras. GenAI Tools: Familiarity with LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, and vector databases, LLMs. Cloud Experience: Practical knowledge of at least one major AI cloud service AWS SageMaker: Notebooks, Training Jobs, and Endpoints. GCP Vertex AI: Model Garden, Pipelines, and Workbench. SAP BTP AI Core: Deploying and managing AI models in a business context. SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries to extract data from relational databases . Understanding of CI/CD principles for automated model deployment.     Responsibilities   Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus different platform’s landscapes. Develop, fine-tune, and deploy data science models and existing programs for performance improvement. Ensure customer-facing requirement analysis and delivery of digital data solutions. Translate business requirements into technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions. This job requires the constant awareness of the compliance risks we face in day-to-day responsibilities.
