Job Description: Description of the job:  The Airframe Department at Airbus India is looking for an Intern to join the Design teams at Airbus India, Bangalore.  Job scope (Tasks & accountabilities):  Performing activities involving Design of metal and composite parts including tolerancing and conceptual designs for Commercial aircraft and Helicopters. Develop and implement designs for aircraft manufacturing Create prototypes, models and computerized images for design (2D & 3D CAD Data) Analyze design and finished product for Tolerancing studies Follow all set quality standards, processes, engineering principles and best practices Establish timelines and work processes for finished product Collaborate with other teams to determine if designs meet customer needs Requirements: Good engineering fundamentals including knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, material properties & some awareness of Aerospace Industry standards for aircraft Structures  Knowledge of GD&T & Good at engineering Drawing Reading & Creation. Candidate should be a technically adept problem-solver, eager to use their mathematical and scientific abilities to build and solve Design Problems. Awareness & Knowledge of CAD Tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, Unigraphics/NX) for Modeling would be an added advantage.
