Job Details: Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The starting pay $19.80/hr This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.   Responsibilities: Rinse equipment with high pressure hot water systems Apply cleaning chemicals to equipment walls, ceilings, floors, drains with a products. Scrub equipment with cleaning chemicals. Lift parts to tear down / set up equipment or to properly store. Climb ladders / steps to clean overhead areas Assures sanitation quality by adhering to company cleaning polices.  Must be able to remember hiding spots and niche areas that exist on all equipment Must be able to spot/locate any deficiencies during pre-op inspections. Must be willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals (Caustics/Acids) Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly Ability to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day Must work in cold/hot temperatures Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs Must be able to work overtime and weekends. Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud . Must have 6 months of continuous work history with 1 employer within the last 1 year Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.  Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
