Job Details: Summary:   This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds regarding the proper care and comfort. Duties would include, but are not limited to:  Advising producers on building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation.  Visiting farms to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, monitor bird health, and provide remedy when possible.  Monitoring feed consumption and ordering if necessary  Pulling blood and fat samples as required  Coordinating chick placements to farms  Assisting with catch schedules  Ensuring communication among Hatchery, Feedmill, and Livehaul departments regarding their contract farms.  Ensuring compliance with the production contract to optimize flock quality and minimize costs.  Ensuring adherence to all USDA and other government regulations regarding poultry handling.   Working with the Broiler and Breeder Departments in coordinating weekly chick placements  Performing other responsibilities as the need arises.  REQUIREMENTS:   Education : bachelor’s degree preferred  Experience : 1+ years of related work experience  Computer Skills : Elementary computer skills such as checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.  Travel : 1 to 5 trips per year  Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl Please attach resume.   We offer a full range of benefits and perks including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Telehealth services Well-Being Support Programs FSA and HSA available 401k Stock Purchase Plan Company Paid Life Insurance Short-Term & Long- Term Disability Fully Funded Education Discount Program *Sponsorship is not offered for this position and applicant must reside in the United States.
