Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Life Claims Manager to lead complex claims assessments and drive operational excellence within our Life Claims team. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in handling major and minor life claims, with a strong focus on high-net-worth medical cases. This leadership role involves mentoring team members and contributing to claims governance and process improvement. Responsibilities - Lead the assessment of complex life, critical illness, and high-net-worth medical claims - Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements - Oversee claims governance, audit readiness, and risk management - Mentor and coach claims team members to enhance technical capabilities - Collaborate with senior management on claims strategy and portfolio insights - Represent the claims function in cross-functional initiatives and client engagements Preferred Skills - Extensive experience in life insurance claims adjudication, including complex and high-value cases - Proven ability to manage high-net-worth medical claims - Strong people leadership - Advanced analytical and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management - Familiarity with claims systems and regulatory frameworks - High level of professionalism and discretion Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Nursing or related field - Minimum 8 years of life claims experience, with exposure to high-net-worth portfolios - Professional certifications in insurance or medical underwriting are an advantage - Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles - Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus We offer 5-day work, attractive salary, MPF, group life and group medical insurance; and excellent career development opportunities to the right candidate.
