Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse - Float Pool Full-Time 7p - 7a 15% Shift Differential The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. Requirements: Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.  National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. Requires a minimum of one year of Telemetry experience. Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
