Summary 2H ICU is a 12-bed Cardiovascular & Thoracic Critical Care Unit. Primarily serving adult and geriatric post-op cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries (CABG, Valve Replacement/Repair, TAVR, Bronch/Thor, and other thoracic and vascular surgeries). This unit also cares for general surgery post-op requiring intensive care, Pre and post critical cardiac Cath lab interventions, post cardiac arrest, sepsis, and complex care ICU patients. 2HICU also provides care for patients on multiple devices such as the Arctic Sun (Hypothermia protocol), ECMO, Impella, IABP, and CVVHD/CRRT. Job Description: Registered Nurse CVICU   Unit Description:   2H ICU is a 12-bed cardio/thoracic ICU unit. This unit services post-op cardiac surgery patients, cardiac intervention, unstable post-op patients requiring direct ICU admission and complex care ICU patients.
