Job Details: Summary As a Senior Anaplan Model Builder at Tyson Foods, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, administering, and continuously enhancing our enterprise-wide Anaplan financial planning models. Embedded within the FP&A Systems team, you will drive transformation through connected, agile financial planning solutions that empower business decision-making and operational excellence. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, scalability, and evolution of Tyson’s Anaplan environment, enabling seamless financial planning processes across multiple business units. You will be the go-to expert for day-to-day model operations—resolving complex issues, validating data accuracy, and guiding users through dashboards and workflows. Beyond operational support, you will lead the design and development of innovative model enhancements that align with evolving business strategies and financial goals. As a Workspace Administrator, you will also manage critical administrative functions including user security, system troubleshooting, and governance compliance to maintain a robust and secure planning platform. Key Responsibilities - Partner with business and finance teams to support and optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. - Empower end users by leading office hours, training sessions, and providing ongoing support to maximize adoption and effective use of Anaplan models. - Monitor, audit, and validate data imports, exports, and integrations to guarantee data integrity and accuracy across models. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve model defects and system issues in close collaboration with Tyson IT and Anaplan support teams. - Design, develop, and implement enhancements and new functionalities within Anaplan models to address changing business requirements and improve planning capabilities. - Administer user access and security settings to safeguard sensitive financial data and maintain compliance with governance policies. - Maintain comprehensive runbooks, documentation, and governance controls to ensure consistent and reliable model operations. - Stay abreast of the latest Anaplan platform updates, features, and best practices by engaging actively in the Anaplan Community and continuous learning. - Contribute to cross-training initiatives and support multiple Anaplan models, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the FP&A Systems team. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Operations) or a highly technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, etc.). - Preferred: Anaplan Level 1 & Level 2 Model Building Certifications. - Minimum 2 years of finance or FP&A experience with demonstrated understanding of financial planning processes. - At least 1 year of hands-on experience building and maintaining Anaplan models or similar financial planning software platforms. - Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and data manipulation using Excel. - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau. - Strong analytical mindset with excellent technical problem-solving skills. - Passionate about leveraging data, business analytics, and financial modeling to drive business insights. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to support and training.
