Job Description: Job description The role oversees the accounting operations for our investment portfolios. It requires leadership in financial reporting, compliance, and team management. Responsibilities Manage investment accounting activities Collaborate with outsourced investment teams (i.e. SLC and SLIMA) on portfolio valuations Ensure compliance with IFRSs and regulatory standards including HKRBC and BMA Prepare Group Reporting schedules Prepare investment related sections in audited financial statements, HKRBC and BMA returns Monitor and analyze movements in notional cash balances Review and monitor internal control procedures and ensure compliance with ICFR Provide support to investment and other teams on investment initiatives Lead and mentor accounting staffs Qualifications Degree in Finance / Accounting with accounting professional qualification 10+ years of working experience in insurance or finance function with at least 5 years of supervisory experience Solid understanding on IFRS 9 and investment accounting for life insurance companies Preferred skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English & excellent written skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong people management skills Meticulous in numbers with high accuracy Uphold a result-oriented mindset Ability to multi-task under tight schedule Proficient in MS Excel/ Word and good knowledge in database management Job Category: Finance Posting End Date: 15/02/2026
