Summary Job Description: Cardiothoracic Surgery RN Circulator Full Time - M, T, Th, F - 0600 - 1430 Call Requirements are 1 in 3 and every 3rd weekend. Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Job Duties: Assessment and identification of all patient needs and utilizes EMR for passing of medications, and all care provided to patient. Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service. Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care. Assure that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems. Delegation of nursing care activities and follow physician orders related to all aspects of patient care. Requirements: Associate degree Current RN Licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
