About the role…   This role will suit a Systems Engineer with experience from one of the following industries: SATCOM, Aerospace, Automotive, Automation / Packaging, Mining, Robotics, Space, or Manufacturing. You will be joining a small multi-disciplinary team (Electrical, Software, RF, Mechanical). As a team, you will be developing Maritime Satellite Communications systems. This role involves long-term, complex projects, coordinating with procurement and 3rd party suppliers and managing design baselines.  Career progression to Systems Design Authority is available.   How will you contribute to the team… S upport with the detailed development of Maritime MilSatCom systems, developing architectural concepts and designs in response to technical specifications. You will also support solving issues with design. Define the performance allocation between the various components of the architecture configuration. Deliver outputs from assigned project work packages within cost, schedule and quality requirements. Interpret customer requirements and Interface directly with the programme and customer team, to demonstrate technical competence and credibility in our solutions. Act as a technical lead for subcontractor and supplier technical developments. About You... Strong level of experience of System Engineering is required Ability to prepare technical documentation Experience of quality and assurance management processes.
