Job Details: This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. **This position is slated for internal candidates currently working in this complex, if not successful internal candidate is selected than external candidates will be considered** Applicant hired in the position will start as an ME01. Requirements: · Must be able to provide own basic tools · Must possess advanced wiring skills for lights and harnesses on vehicles · Must possess welding skills. Must be able to take road service calls as needed. · Must be able to service vehicles. (PM1, PM2) Must be able to perform PM6 – DOT inspections. (after 1 year) · Must be able to perform loader repairs. Must be able to perform minor motor, transmission, and rear end repairs. · Must be able to perform major trailer repairs. Must be able to work in cold, hot and/or wet conditions. · Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last two years to exclude D.U.I. (Driving Under the influence) conviction on his/her Motor Vehicle Record. · Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a company license. · Must maintain 5 points and under attendance policy. · Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Working Schedule: Sunday night – Thursday Night-- 8:00pm -4:00am, occasionally might have to work alternate shifts. night shift premium $2.00 Computer Skills: Must possess basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good interpersonal, writing and communication skills are critical Safety: Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules Requirements: 6 months of maintenance or mechanical experience.
