Job Details: SUMMARY : The Supervisor Production plays a key role in leading daily operations to ensure high production levels, strong yields, consistent quality, and a safe working environment. This role requires a solid understanding of the production process, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate staffing and workflow effectively. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Review daily production orders to ensure customer requirements are met. Confirm all positions are staffed before production line start‑up. Monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Maintain accurate production records and oversee general line maintenance. Ensure all workstations pass USDA Inspection before operations begin. Team Leadership & Development Lead Team Member morning exercises and manage job rotation to support ergonomics. Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members. Provide coaching, encouragement, and support to build an engaged, high‑performing team. Conduct training, retention efforts, and counseling for personal and professional matters. Safety & Compliance Promote daily safety awareness and conduct monthly safety meetings. Support compliance with all company, USDA, and food safety standards. Quality & Inventory Management Ensure proper product coding, accurate shipments, and correct rotation of inventory. Track reworked or returned product and maintain required documentation. Reinforce the importance of quality through continuous education. Collaboration & Problem-Solving Work closely with other supervisors to identify and solve operational issues. Support various processing operations as needed and assist with additional duties as they arise. REQUIREMENTS : Education : High school diploma; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred. Computer Skills : Basic computer skills helpful. Communication Skills : Strong communication skills. Supervisory : This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Travel : 1-5 trips per year.
