Job Details: This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Physical Requirements *Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas. * Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas * Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders * The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance, Working Conditions: * Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot. * Must be able to work in a dusty environment. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic: Must have a valid driver's license. Must have at least 6 months vehicle mechanic experience documented on application or resume. Diesel experience preferred. No bonus.
