Hours: General hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (flex as needed). Additional compensation is provided for the 6th and 7th workdays. We invest in our team members and their success by providing resources like BENEFITS ON DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT and FREE EDUCATION !   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks Execute GMP and housekeeping audits Assist in the annual reassessment of the HACCP plan Facilitate Team Member food safety training Perform a variety of tasks requiring sound judgment, including prioritization, result evaluation, and effective collaboration with colleagues Flexibility in work hours is required, with coverage on other shifts (as needed) Frequent weekend work may be assigned by the Manager REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Food Science or a related field. Experience: 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with ready-to-eat or toppings production; Strong understanding of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOP’s. HACCP certification is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge is advantageous. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Supervisory: This role involves supervising a small group of personnel with somewhat similar tasks.
