Purpose and main priorities of the role: As a Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring highest quality level of roll and graphics products with focus on coating and slitting processes. In a very dynamic and challenging context, you will have the role to keep strong focus on quality and to drive cross-functional team inside the problem resolution management and a new preventive quality culture. Your responsibilities will include: You will monitor the customer and internal claim to define the priority actions to be carried out on product and process You will manage the problem resolution activities among different stakeholders, driving the team toward the corrective action definition and implementation You will strongly collaborate with Customer Success team to ensure support on claim resolution and customer meeting You will cooperate with Quality Manager for creation of a continuous improvement strategy and a quality approach oriented to prevention You will strongly supervise the production processes, supporting our Quality specialists with the aim of reducing internal scraps and improving quality level to customer You will promote frequent alignments with Production to assure that quality mindset is properly in place and that operator experience on quality issues is not ignored Who we are looking for: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering At least 3 years of experience in the industrial sector in Quality team Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong leadership skills, including the ability to drive performance in a dynamic and challenging environment High level of proactivity, energy, and a strong sense of responsibility Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels Ability to manage stress and handle high workloads with resilience Advanced proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Excel) Result-oriented mindset, pragmatism, and a customer-centric approach Italian (good knowledge), English (excellent) Why you can't miss this opportunity You will be able to actively contribute to the ambitious goals that Fedrigoni is achieving in becoming the global industry leader, by ensuring accuracy of records and reporting on collection activity.
