Job Overview The SVP, Chief Medical Officer, plans, organizes, and directs all AltaMed Health Services Corporation (AHSC) medical/dental/clinical/nursing/behavioral health/health education services to ensure quality, patient-centric, appropriate, timely, safe, and cost-effective care. Responsible for AHSC's Total Quality Management, Peer Review, medical management review of clinical UM/case management/claims transactions, medical education, research (including AltaMed Institute of Health Equity & Medical Education), and health education Programs. May practice and provide medical services at one or more of AltaMed’s sites. Minimum Requirements Physician with an active, unrestrictive CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Medical group management experience is highly preferred.  A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines. Compensation $412,230.25 - $515,287.81 annually Compensation Disclaimer Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
