Main responsibilities include: Coordinating, organizing, and managing  logistical support for events and research activities (seminars, workshops, fellow searches, trips to the region, retreats, among others), including scheduling, timelines, participant coordination, and follow up. (40%) Producing and managing external and internal Center communications, including drafting and scheduling email announcements and maintaining various calendars. (20%) Managing and maintaining the Crown Center’s website and social media presence. (15%) Supporting the production and distribution of Crown Center publications including Middle East Briefs , Crown Conversations , newsletters, and related content, by coordinating draft circulation and preparing and formatting materials for print and digital publication(15%) Providing administrative and academic support for the Center and its faculty.(10%) The hiring range for the position is $26.04 - 32.53/hour (35 hours per week). Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree preferred;  1-3 years work experience, preferably in an academic or research setting; Experience with desktop publishing software such as InDesign, email platforms such as Constant Contact, and basic design or online tools used for digital communications;  Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and editorial skills;  Ability to balance competing priorities and manage time in the face of numerous tasks/projects.  Accuracy in work and attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Preference given to candidates with experience in Middle East studies.  Social media experience preferred.
