How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Due to the expansion in the Taiwan market, we are looking for a Production Engineer, who act as a technical resource for Operations in the plant, applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems and enable safe and efficient production of quality products. The Production Engineer is expected : 1. be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of teams to implement change effectively and sustain the gains. 2. be able to thrive in a fast paced and very dynamic environment and focus on Lean and continuous improvement. Process management and Improvement : Take ownership for ALAM product lines, process and production efficiency. Build Operating Discipline such as start up, shut down and normal operations. Develop the training modules and systems for the products/processes. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators(KPI) for the units to meet varies goals. Analyze the root causes of the issue and bottleneck. Design and implement the improvement projects and solutions to enhance the efficiency. Develop and manage small-medium size, local capital projects to improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and product line expansion. Technical Support to Operation team : Serves as a subject matter expert and resource on the technical capability and capacity of product line and process. Understands the chemistry and operation of the plant, process safety and HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) requirements, and customer specifications and expectations for the products. Establish Operating procedures, provides and ensure knowledge transfer to the operators. - Coaches plant personnel to effectively change behaviors when performance is not meeting expectations. Others tasks : Drive the culture of “Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" on daily basis. Create, update and maintain the required documentation and systems. Notice : This position is expected to be : 1. on call in the night and weekend. 2. Work extended hours based on the business needs. ___________________ Are you a MATCH? 【Education & Experience】 BS and above in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering 4 + years of experience in process, production, or project engineering in Chemical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plants. 【Requirements】 Learn technical chemical processes quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Work extended hours as business needs dictate including nights, weekends, and holidays Work effectively with Maintenance, R&D, Process Development, Engineering, Quality and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Experience establishing, tracking and driving gap closure with KPIs (Key Performance Metrics) or equivalent. Methodical, data based problem solving and decision making skills Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and changing priorities Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business.
