The primary focus of the Engineering department is to lead and execute large, mid size capital projects and smaller continuous improvement projects related to commercial chemical manufacturing processes. The sr. project manger will act as a key subject matter expert in Project management and perform/manage all aspects of project management activity for the projects executed in support of major product lines and manufacturing areas, providing technical insights, leadership, and disciplined project management for implementation of chemical process intensive projects. Job Summary: The role will be responsible for managing large-scale projects in the Asia Pacific region, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience leading complex initiatives across multiple countries. Job Responsibilities: • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. • Identify and mitigate risks and issues, communicating proactively with stakeholders to ensure project success. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective resource utilization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and subject matter experts, to ensure successful delivery of projects. • Conduct regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and other project governance activities as required. • Ensure all projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field. • At least 2 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably in a multinational corporation. • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders. • Fluency in English required; additional languages desirable. Are you a MATCH? • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to senior leadership and external partners. • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planview, or similar. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
