This is an individual contributor role who will be the subject matter expert (SME) in ALAM and fully responsible for applying engineering principles independently to all aspects of specification, design, programming, installation, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial power distribution systems. He/she will report directly to the Director of Automation and Controls. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Drive the culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" with their actions and their words on a daily basis Provide electrical engineering capability and support for capital projects by defining project scopes, developing cost estimates, organizing third party services and actively participating in design reviews and as a team member or leader. Lead the electrical workstream in capital projects through design, construction management, commissioning phases and ensure successful handover to the manufacturing team. Develop, implement and support plant electrical distribution hardware in an efficient and safe manner, effectively troubleshoot industrial electrical distribution systems and implement corrective actions independently, and be responsible for capturing any field changes on issued documents vs as-builts. Be responsible for electrical reliability and safety design and assessment to make sure that all the delivered electrical and power systems are highly reliable for business continuity and exceptionally safe for operations. Establish and maintain the electrical standard and design basis for ALAM, make sure they are consistently followed in all projects and sites, and assist with design documentation (Single line drawings, panel schedules, load list etc.) for both new and existing facilities while following electrical codes and best practices. Lead multi-disciplinary teams to source for vendors in APAC region, assess technical capability of vendors and maintain the vendor relationship. Be the subject matter expert (SME) and technical owner to prepare training materials and train/coach junior engineers or the plant staff on all electrical related knowledge Support A&C Director to build and execute global engineering strategy related to electrical engineering. Are you a MATCH? Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering 10+years of relevant experience in electrical and power system design and analysis for manufacturing plants, including single line drawings, panel schedules, load list, earthing philosophy issued for bid and construction packages. Experience of contractor   and construction   supervision and electrical installation, inspection and tests.
