Job Description: • Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for a defined category scope including, but not limited to raw materials, 3 rd Party manufacturing, indirect goods and services. • Provide end-to-end sourcing support to local country NPIs.   Drive cost competitive solution to support business growth. Establish successful sourcing story for cost/growth in country, for potential replication opportunities to Global 3M • Ability to navigate and interpret complex technical content to effectively translate technical requirements to vendors and develop robust should-cost models. • Work closely with BSC, MFG, Lab and Quality team for BCC country NPI projects. Coordinate closely with Global Category Management teams to align sourcing plans with technical and operational needs. • Conduct onsite supplier evaluations to assess supplier capability, adherence to ISO9001, and ensure alignment with 3M’s Supplier Responsibility Code. • Utilize total cost of ownership and risk analysis tools to build data driven business cases to support source of supply changes and ensure supply chain resilience. • Analyze purchasing data, inventory, and consumption trends to identify sourcing opportunities. • Leverage strong project management and change management skills to drive opportunities. • Communicate and influence usage of BCC suppliers to Category Managers as part of overall category strategies.
