Role Overview The SharePoint Online Analyst is a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 services, specializing in SharePoint Online. You will provide advanced technical support, manage escalations, and ensure compliance with legal, security, and organizational standards. This role collaborates with global teams to optimize SharePoint environments, implement roadmap changes, and support business-critical migrations. Key Responsibilities Deliver Tier 3 support for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related M365 services Resolve complex technical issues, including permissions, authentication, and integrations Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and problem management Enforce governance, security, and compliance standards Configure and administer SharePoint Online features, including site collections and metadata Support migrations and integrations with external applications Maintain technical documentation and mentor junior support teams Participate in incident response and change management processes Monitor service health and provide timely updates to internal teams regarding outages or degradation Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365 support, with deep expertise in SharePoint Online Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Experience with large-scale migrations and governance Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, ITIL Foundation Key Performance Indicators Timely resolution of escalated SharePoint Online issues Uptime and performance of SharePoint environments Successful completion of migration and optimization projects Quality of documentation and knowledge transfer Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.
