Job Description: Electronics Engineer The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Electronics Development Engineer at the 3M R&D department in Gagnef you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Collaborating with your colleagues in the Electronics team to develop and maintain our range of safety products designed for professional welders worldwide. This portfolio currently includes  Speedglas™ Auto-Darkening Filters  and  Adflo™ Powered Air Purifying Respirators . Driving the development of new and innovative products to support future growth of the Welding portfolio. Contributing throughout the entire product lifecycle - from initial concept to commercial launch. Joining a global team that is located at a site where R&D, marketing, quality, and manufacturing all work closely together. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Knowledge of hardware design for battery-powered devices, particularly those with high availability requirements. Fundamental understanding of embedded programming. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
