You will be at the forefront of structuring complex deals, ensuring alignment with business strategy, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our organisation offers a supportive environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth. If you are looking for a position where your expertise in transaction banking can make a real impact while working alongside knowledgeable colleagues and external partners, this could be the perfect next step in your career. Engage with a wide range of clients across corporate, institutional, and government sectors to deliver tailored transaction banking solutions that meet their evolving needs. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external advisors to structure complex financial deals that mitigate risk and align with strategic objectives. Benefit from flexible working opportunities, ongoing training programmes, and the chance to work within a highly supportive and inclusive team environment. What you'll do: As an Associate Transaction Banking Sales professional, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to promote innovative financial solutions will be key. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging directly with clients from various sectors, understanding their unique challenges, and offering tailored transaction banking services that address their needs. You will collaborate extensively with both internal teams—such as Relationship Managers—and external advisors to structure deals that not only meet client expectations but also safeguard the interests of the organisation. By preparing persuasive presentations and negotiating contract terms, you will play an integral part in securing new business opportunities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your efforts will contribute significantly to building lasting client relationships based on trust, reliability, and exceptional service delivery. Promote an extensive range of trade products and transaction banking services to corporate, institutional, and governmental customers within the local market by understanding their specific requirements. Assess client needs and product suitability to support the team in structuring sophisticated deals that effectively manage risk for the organisation. Review credit applications within the team to ensure pricing, product offerings, and deal structures are consistent with overall business strategy and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Provide expert advice on transaction banking products to Relationship Managers and other colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing across departments. Work collaboratively with other product offices within the organisation to leverage additional products for client deals and maintain strong relationships for future business opportunities. Partner with various external parties such as lawyers, accountants, and technical experts to seek guidance and support in relation to complex transactions. Develop compelling presentation materials and pitch documents tailored to each customer’s needs to facilitate successful negotiations. Negotiate contract terms and conditions—including pricing—with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements are reached while maintaining high service standards. Prepare detailed deal proposals and credit applications that align with business strategy, mitigate risk, and enhance the overall customer experience. Collect relevant information from multiple sources—including financial statements, company accounts, and sector data—to support thorough deal assessments. What you bring: To excel as an Associate Transaction Banking Sales professional, you will bring proven experience in delivering high-quality financial solutions within a reputable banking or financial services environment. Your background should include hands-on involvement in structuring complex deals that require careful consideration of risk factors while aligning with broader business strategies. You possess excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—that enable you to build rapport quickly with clients as well as internal stakeholders. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret financial data accurately while your attention to detail ensures all documentation meets regulatory standards. A collaborative approach is central to your work style; you thrive when partnering with others towards shared goals. Above all, your commitment to providing extraordinary customer experiences sets you apart as someone who truly understands what it means to add value through every interaction. Demonstrated knowledge of trade products and transaction banking services (eg. Trade Finance, Deposits, ARPS etc.), as well as familiarity with core banking systems is essential for success in this role. Experience in preparing detailed credit applications or deal proposals that align with strategic business goals is highly valued. Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret financial data from various sources such as company accounts or sector reports is important for accurate deal assessment. A keen awareness of industry trends along with up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations ensures compliance at every stage of the process. Capacity for identifying potential risks—including credit risk or tax implications—and recommending effective solutions is crucial for safeguarding organisational interests. Strong command of English and excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally. Strong collaborative skills are needed to work seamlessly with colleagues from different departments as well as external advisors like lawyers or accountants. Experience in developing presentation materials or pitch documents tailored to specific client needs enhances your ability to secure new business opportunities.
