Role Overview: Euronext Market Services is seeking a  Quality Assurance Engineer  to join the  Data Systems team in Porto . The QA will play a critical role in a major transformation project, migrating our data platform from a centralized data warehouse architecture on Amazon Redshift to a modern lakehouse platform built around  Apache Iceberg . The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other QA engineers and developers to: Validate the  functional results  of new developments. Conduct  data comparison tests  to identify regressions and discrepancies. Ensure high standards of  data quality  across the new platform. Key Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and execute  test plans Validate data consistency, completeness, and performance across legacy and new platforms Use testing frameworks to  enhance data quality checks . Collaborate with development, data engineering, and QA peers to ensure delivery of reliable, accurate data applications. Contribute to the definition of QA best practices within the data platform transformation. Identify and report issues, and follow up on resolution. Document test cases, results, and QA processes (XRAY , JIRA , Confluence …). Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a  QA Engineer  with a focus on  data platforms . Strong  SQL skills  (advanced queries, joins, aggregations, performance checks). Hands-on experience validating  data pipelines and platforms in public cloud environments , especially  AWS . Experience with CI/CD tools and automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Solid understanding of  QA core competencies , including: System testing Non-regression testing Test planning & exécution Testing strategies Experience leveraging QA/testing frameworks for  data quality assurance . Experience testing applications using frameworks like  Apache Airflow, Apache Flink and   Apache Spark  is a plus . Familiarity with  Python and Java  Development is a good asset. Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting is a plus Familiarity with financial markets is a strong advantage, or strong motivation to learn the functional domain . Good communication skills in English.
